NOT unless you fight it and PROVE that the value is less than what tax books say it's worth. Get it appraised & gather up a few comparable prices against other parts/project trucks, write up your findings, and present them to the licensing authorities. It can be done, and has been done in order to fight improper tax valuations.nice but if you realy want to pay thru the nose go to RI. you pay the sales tax based on blue book value.
Blue book for a 52 m37 is $6,000. dosent matter how bad the shape it's in.
