I made a post a few days ago about finding a few trucks in a barn that had been parked for over 25 years. While I know WW II vehicle pretty well, the M series trucks are new to me. The one truck I know nothing about is a M45 chassis with M3A3 decontamination unit I found. The truck is still in AF blue with all its AF reg numbers in place and has never been messed with. It even came with a NOS crated gas engine! All I can find is a blurb that only 225 were ordered by the Air Force and that they were used for firefighting and filed showers. Does anyone have anymore info on these units?

David Doyle does but you will have to be patient, he's at Aberdeen and travels all the time. I'd send him a PM with the thread link there so it doesn't get lost. He has posted info on them before.

Maybe I'll run into him Friday Morning. I'm going down to pick up a M52. This is driving me nuts trying to find info on this vehicle.

Thanks
