M49 worth keeping a tank on ?

Picked up an M49 tanker. Debating whether to fix it up and keep a tanker or find a bed or just cut it up.
Do the tankers have any decent resale value ? Or should I just put a cargo bed on and scrap the tank ?

I'd love to get a tanker. But I'd also like to get one of each deuce i.e. tanker , wrecker , dump , pole setter and so on.


I've already got a cargo , drop side , shop van , long bed and fire truck.

I scrapped out a taker several years ago. If yours has the stainless steel tank you can make some good money. You have to cut off all the other steel off it to get max money.

tankers bring big bucks as fuel trucks too logging and mining companys love them as fuel trucks to wet hose equipment
