I moved the crowd out on the wrecker so I can prep it for paint. Upon completion, i found a bunch of hyrdrolic oil coming out the back of the boom. The TM has you remove the entire boom, them remove the crowd in order to access the crowd cylinder. Anyone have a simpler way to fix this?

When I pulled the cylinder out of mine, I pulled the boom out first. you would have to have the outer boom out at least a few feet to get to the pin to release the cylinder, so you couldn't pull the cylinder without having the boom out and supported some way.
