I just picked up a M543A2 wrecker with the Big Multi Fuel Engine, There is a power steering assist cylinder attached to the top of the right front knuckle
All four studs are sheared off and the hydraulic steering cylinder is tied up and out of the way
Has anyone ever run across this type of damage??

You just mean the 4 studs on the top of the steering knuckle are sheered off?

If so, the nuts got loose and they kept driving it. Get the remnants out with an extractor and replace. There are also some conical washers you may be missing.
