Ah, the old M715 water pump blues. Welcome to the headache.

I can't help you - I simply replaced my water pump with a NOS one. Go to M715Zone.com, those guys have the process down pat.

Good luck grasshopper. Go to "the zone" and do a search. Many have tried different methods. I think Tim(barrman) had made good progress

I made a puller out of plate steel that looks pretty much like a steering wheel puller. That got it off. I am still trying to spec out the exactly right seals and bearings to rebuild the pumps so I haven't gone through the head ache of putting one back on.

The civvy pump wil not work on the mil engine. The bolt ho;es ar on different locations.
