Also, check with Memphis Equipment. They also did, or still do, S-cam conversion on M809-series 5-tons. If so, they may have a new part number(s).
I think I spoke with Memphis Equipment on Monday, they still offer the kit... for $8K. If they have it though, I guess the question would be if they'll sell the spiders alone, and if they have a new number or just a stock of the old spiders.

Regarding the mirror image for the other side... Is it not possible to just flip the spider on the horizontal axis and bolt it on? I understand why the S-cam tubes and chamber brackets have to be side-specific, but I don't see why the spiders are.

I don't really see why they wouldn't be ambidextrous. The ones you found look like they will clock slightly different. I don't believe that will be a deal breaker though. Also, will the S-cam brackets I used properly fit the newer spiders?
