Purchased an M818 from GL--No year was given for the truck--Made by Kaiser--How can you determine the year----What is the grease tube located on the drivers side next to the clutch housing lubricating and how are you to load the tube since it has no fittings--Thanks

It looked a little rusty so I touched it up in places--I do not have a picture--can put one up tomorrow--the tube is as thick as your pinky and has a screw on cap it and is loaded with grease

Thank you for the info--I did grease the through out bearing--Is it possible to lubricate the trans out put shaft where the bearing rides--I have had through out bearings go bad in 2 1/2 and 5 tons

To see the approximate year of manufacture looke on the left front side of the engine and there is an Engine data plate and it has the year of Manufacture of the engine , that will ballpark the date of manufacture of the truck
