M818 Steel Hard Top Question

Was looking into replacing my canvas top with a hard top simple question really if anyone knows how heavy is the steel top for the M818 truck? I don't need exact but an approximate would be just wondering if one person can put it on and off themselves.

If it's a complete top then it's a two person job. If you unbolt the back panel from the top then you might be able to do it yourself. They're pretty hefty.

They are not too hard to put on- if you leave the bolts loose until they are all started before tightening- it will help

It took some doing but I put a hard top on a M816 by myself, Its do able.

I put one on a M123 doing as described in post 2 but it wasn't easy. Get soldier #2 if one is available.
