M880 weight

Does anybody know the total weight of an M880 pickup? Possible off of a data plate. I'm looking to find the difference in weight between an 880 and an 887, because i would like to remove my maintance box and place it on a trailer while it undergoes a drivetrain swap. My data tag on the box says 8,000 lbs when fully loaded, so thats the number i'm using.

I'm curious to know if my 116A2 trailer would be stout eough to hold the weight, since its data tag only rates it as a 3/4 ton trailer.

Thanks in advance

WOW! 8,000
per the data tag a M886 is 6100lb
M880 (IIRC) is in the 4800lb area
My W400 Ambulance data tag shows 7366lb
My M116A2 frame tag on my M101A2 shows 2100 or 2300lb on road cargo cap.

I suspect the welder / generator in that M887 is pretty heavy.

edit:
from data tags
M880 curb wt 4790 / GVWR 8000
M116A2 tag payload 2365 / M101A2 tag payload 2250
M886 wt 6116 per -10 (data tag blank)

BTW The XM887 is the cab/chassis. The truck shop combo doesn't really have a M number, the two together is known as SECM.
The curb weight for the M880 is 4648lbs. Wayne

Matt, you could take the truck to the Co-Op and weigh it on the scale for a couple bucks. The 880 seems real close to the published weight. The phone maint version shows 5014 lbs. so with the welder and engine I could see it hitting 6500 lbs with no tools. So maybe a good estamate would be the box, welder, engine wouild be 2500 lbs??? Would it fit between the wheel wells of a M101 anyway?

Ill bring over a jeep to set it on! :D If I know you, why does it need to be on a trailer? A drivline swap takes you what? 6 hours? Ser her on the ground and pick up the wrenches!

It's one of those ideas i get. I have this nice unused 116A2 trailer and thought about putting the welder on a trailer, so i can have a regular pickup, possibly with a crane mounted on the back.

I misread the data tags and the ship weight is 7300 lbs. I'm going to run over to the local gravel pit this week and get a definite weight and go from there.
