M915A1 4500RDS conversion

Drive shaft in in just a quick video 1-3 gear and reverse on stands. Need to lower idle and will continiue on the speedo, maybe sunday will drive it down the road , o yes also need to top off transmission with fluid so far 13 gallons $$$$..

Thank you for the pics. I was trying to figure out if the shift lever has a pushbutton on the center of the shaft and whether it locks out reverse. Right now mine has a turned piece of metal (aluminium) with no lockout at all. I "could" drive down the road and shift from 5th into reverse by just pushing forward.

Steve, as far as I know there isn't an interlock. Tinkerbell almost destroyed my M915A1 transmission that way on the way to the GA rally one year- we hit a bump and she whipped a circle and her butt hit the shifter and it *almost* made it into reverse but I grabbed it when I saw what was happening...

I love my M915A4 with the big cam and 4500... FLYS and will do so with 100k combined.

I being tuning gas and diesels engines and transmission for over 20 years i have softwear to tune allison transmission and it has good diagnostics with data log plus i also have allison softwear but ists almost plug and play i done several convertimos from 13 and 18 speed to allison 4500 , everything the same exept the adaptors for the engines even 4000 , next one i want to use a 4070 EVS with retard ...
I am getting ready to extrech the frame about 5 feet next month or 2 more to follow..
