M916 build “War Rig” gun truck

My newest ride is already undergoing some Changes.

I’m building my M916 that I have named War Rig after the truck from fury road.

I’m not a purist and tend to modify everything I drive.

I’m making a gnarly style gun truck and will be building a mad max style bumper.

This is a M916 with the Allison 7spd retrofit.
I got it from Wes and he already did the driveline modification moving the transfer case back 12” to crest a less problematic jack shaft.

I painted the truck with some Home Depot exterior Behr paint. Wes had already swapped on a 5th wheel plate from an m915a1 but I had to modify the ramps.

Gun ring came in and I built some legs for it. I need to make some additional bracing. The winch platform makes a great base for the legs.

If anything this new bumper will keep them in front and pushed to the side of me instead of going right under.

It’s angled rearward. The truck is backed up next to my military semi trailer that you are seeing on the left side.
