Rambling Wreck,
I'm pretty sure he wants the trailer to act as it's own tanker and pump with a 2,000 gallon capacity. Giving the truck/trailer combination a 3,000 gallon capacity in total. Thats going to be a lot of weight to move, and more importantly stop.
nlauffer,
I'm just curious how much the extra equipment weighs.
~16,700 lbs in water alone (not counting tanks, pumps, genset, fuel, misc equpiment) in the trailer.
~8,350 lbs of water alone (again not counting tank etc...) in the bed of the truck.
Looks like a great combination of truck and trailer. Excellent idea to have the trailer able to operate independantly (although not mobile). Make sure the ABS is working, they had some issues with that when the M923 is shut down improperly.
