M923 exhaust system

Greetings All,

Does anyone have for sale or know where to get some exhaust piping for the M923 5 ton.

I'm looking for a new or slightly used exhaust pipe that's after the exhaust headers and before the flex joint under the cab. Mine eroded away and fell down.
I was driving my truck and all of a sudden it sounded like it had open headers.

You can weld a new flange on it also.
That's what Andy did to fix his.
I think he got it at a truck shop.
Would have to have him report.

Trying all possible avanues and ideas. I hate having my truck down. I love driving this thing.

That's what I did. Bought a flanged adapter, cut off flange and welded it on. Cost me around $12.

Worst case, if you are unable to find a used take-off part, Eriks Military Surplus sells new exhaust components for 5 tons (and deuces.)

If all else fails take a Sawzall and cut the end off the manifold and the flange off the pipe. Use a wide band clamp. My logger buddy did that to several of his. Works great and you don't have to remove a lot of stuff to do it.
