How did you make out in Maine with the registration. I need to register one as well. Thanks

Registration in Maine is very easy.... after many phone calls. No matter what your intended use it has to be commercial plates. The trick is use if you're using it strictly as a personal vehicle you can register it at 26,000. At that weight and use you don't need DOT numbers. If you ever load anything in the bed that changes the game and you're liable for trouble. There's no need for class b if you go that route but you'll be limited to a very large pickup with zero payload essentially. Hope that helps with Maines wacky interpretation
