Hey guys I was out in the warehouse getting trucks started for the season and when I fired up my 925 it ran fine and started immediately, after about 10 minutes if idling I went in and tried to increase the RPM to around 1000 RPM and the truck would NOT increase RPM, I then tried to do it at the pump also to no avail. I have a case of the dreaded ALGAE in the tank, thankfully I only have about 25 gallons in the tank. So my question is do all I have to do to fix this is to change out the fuel filter and clean out the tank, do I have to do anything with the fuel line from the tank to the filter housing? And YES I know now to be a lot more active on the biocide in the future! Dumb move on my part to let it get to this point!
Any thoughts are certainly appreciated!

I'd go max biocide, change the filters several times as needed until they clear up, and call it done. But I have no experience with it, but from a biology perspective, you'll need to kill all of it for it not to easily come back, just like penicillin works. Take all the pills they prescribe even after your cooties go away to be sure.

Start it, let it idle to circulate all the way to the injectors. Wait, then if necessary rise filters and repeat...
