M931A2 Hard top.. Anyone else have fitment issues?

So.. There are only two issues with the truck that I bought. The first is slightly leaky seals on the driveshafts. But I will deal with that at some other point. The second problem is the one that really bothers me, and that is the fitment between the windows and the hard top. It is all kinds of crazy, and none of the gaps are even. Anyone else had this issue, and come up with a solution? It's driving me nuts. The issue is so bad in some spots that it caused me to bust one of my windows the other day (window rolled up on the inside of the window seal, instead of coming up straight into the seal.. got caught at the top edge when I went to pull open the door.) I'm just looking for possible suggestions. I did some searches using words like hardtop, fitment, etc., but most of the threads were strictly about "hardtop vs softop." Worst case, I know they do make brand new 1 piece fiberglass hardtops. Has anyone ever tried one of those? Thanks in advance.. Just trying to get this truck squared away.

My top has gaps between the window frames and top too. Not really any solution to it I don't think, that's just how they are. I think it's more the windows being loose than it is the top. If you really wanted you could probably get some door seal material from somewhere like McMaster Carr and stick it on the areas with gaps.

The windows have adjustable stops on them front and rear if you take the door panel off. They may need adjusted if you went from a soft top to hard top.

yep , a 5 ton offroad truck with real tight tolerances would generate some real issues for ya when some gritty action comes your way , like not being able to open or shut a door

On my M 923 84' model, The window track itself has a fiber mesh kind'of stuff in it that has completely worn out. That is were my window has major problems moving in any kind'of straight direction. Replacing it seems like a major ***** but I will have to get to it at some point!
