M939 Axle shims

I tore apart the front of the intermediate axle on my m923a0 to replace the front seal on the axle. In the process of getting the front cover off I tore and bent the shims on the top loader. Is there any specifics on lash and other precise measurements to take the rest of it apart and replace the shims?
