I am trying to find out where wires 540 and 578 go to. We had wires wrap around drive shaft and pulled them out and cannot find out where they go.

You can always down load the TM's from this site. I did find wire #578, it goes to the Air pressure switches on the air tanks, they are under the right side of the cab by the tool box. I could not find wire 540.

Are you sure you are reading the #540 right.

I thought that it what it said. It might also be a 546 or 548.

It's 54A which goes the diagnostic connector. Not needed so tape it off.
