M939A2 Radiator Fan

Hi,
I was wondering if you guys that own M939A2 series trucks could help me out. At what temperature does your fan clutch engage? Since I have owned my truck the fan clutch has not engaged. The temperature hovers between 150 and 200 degrees. I tested the fan clutch with shop air so I know that works. Any thoughts on this topic would be appreciated.
Thanks

It has been a long time since I drove my 923A2 so I don't remember the exact temperature, but I do remember it was pretty hot before it kicked on. A lot of times it wouldn't engage while I was driving down the road, but would start once I pulled over somewhere and idled for a bit. I would watch the temp gauge climb and then that sucker would start roaring! Since you tested your fan, the only other possibility is that the actuator is bad. If it gets hot on you sometime and the fan won't kick on, you can lock the fan to the clutch pulley (with the engine off ;) ) so that it will run constantly.

I thought mine was broken too. It will not kick on with just idling and casual driving. You need to really WORK the truck to have it kick on. Put a load on it.

I don't remember the temp but, with a conx in back and pulling a 30k gen set up radar mountain in NTC will get it to kick in. With no windsheilds or top that thing is loud.
