m998 x doors - can they be sandblasted?

Hi

I`m not certain what the doors are made of. Is it fiberglass or some sort of mix?

My question is is it ok to sandblast for painting or do I have to sand it down?

one more question. I have overspray on the rubber seal running around the edge of the door. whats the best way to celan this off without damaging the rubber?

The carc paint is very hard to remove from rubber. I replaced the rubber on all of mine.
