I am having trouble registering an M1084 in my town in Maine. I have been told that military vehicles like mine are not legal on Maine roads. I am sure this is incorrect and I have a copy of the law discussed in this thread that proves it. Still, I thing the 10,000 lb. limit looks like it is still an issue as my truck is over 25,000 lbs. I thought maybe a farm tag would work as a way to get around this limit, but just wondered if anyone has any ideas or updates on this. I did get temp tags to bring the truck home so plan to do that this comming week. The struggle to get permanent tags will start when I get it here.
