Manifold Heater Leak

After all these years, tonight the manifold heater starts leaking. There is a small hole just under the fuel inlet. Fuel just streaming out of there. I have never used the manifold heater, should I just bypass it? Do you just plug the inlet tube. Looks like just a 1/4 npt plug? Give me some advice. (Needle nose pliers pointing to the hole.)

thanks!

And if you remove the different parts, it cleans up the engine some. I took my Intake to napa and had them match drain bugs to fit the holes left behind. I may or may not have used a little JB Weld also....
