Manual glow plug system

I have done searches to find out how to do this but still confused can somebody help me hook up a push button glow plug system, my controller card hasnt been working, and a new one is $152 at the gm dealer.

I got a push button starter switch will that work, or do i need a toggle design?

Be sure to use a push button switch(normally open, momentary contact) and not a toggle switch.

My cucv was hooked up manual when i got it. its hooked up to the left switch on the blackout panel in the up position, pops down automatically. Also have a 9th glowplug in babyfood jar on dash for a visual. Works well. Not sure how its hooked up yet.
