Manufacturers of the Deuce by year?

Well if someone applies for their SF-97 prior to picking up the truck they have clearly violated the terms of the contract & it is not like anyone ever got a SF-97 in less than 2 weeks from auction end (including a holiday). So I don't see it as an issue.

Back to the topic that started this;
What I have found on this is:
at the beginning of 1970 deuce production Switched from Kaiser-Jeep to General Products Dision of Jeep then in late 71 AM General was spun off from Jeep.
So the majority of deuce's delivered in 70, 71 would be General Products Division of Jeep. 60's = Kaiser-Jeep, 72 & up = AM General
Since it was all done in the same factory & assembly line, the name change was just that, a name change. there was likely an overlap with data tags. And data tags get replaced along the way, using whatever (blank) deuce data tag is available at the time of replacement.

Your SF 97 comes with your bill of sale from GSA its automatic.. I cant find this in the GL contract where does it state this? If so I have violated the contract many times and need to know. I insured two trucks using vin #s for others last week too..

I've been told by GL that they will not accept a sf97 for a truck that hasn't been picked up.

Our Data plates look just like the one in Lex_Ordo's post.

I just realized... why is there an old American Motors LOGO on it after the AM General? Our Data plates have this as well....

Production years for the CCKW were 1941 to 1945

AMC owned AM General.

And I have a 70or 71 that has a REO data plate on it. You can not go by the name on the data plate.
