Maryland area HMMWV prices

Hi all. I have a 1991 M998 and im trying to get an idea of what its worth. Its a 6.2 with a 3 speed. Plain jane, no extras to speak of. 100% operational with exception a small leak at the rear dif. I see them selling at auction for around 6-8k and some on craigslist for 20k and up. Does anyone know what theyre actually going for? Im not trying to get top dollar, i would just like to know a fair asking price. Thank you.

a lot of variables having to do with location, market conditions, licensing, etc.

For a 2 man cab setup and licensed as on road, I would venture to say somewhere between $10-15k as a ballpark.

Thanks Coug, I appreciate the response. That's around where I was thinking. I had 12k in my head. It's a 4 man with a Maryland title. Replaced balancer and seal. New glowplugs and 1 half shaft. Also has a Tach and aftermarket alternator.
