I need an after market male power end connector for the two pin MBU v3 power cord. I want to build a test rig for MBUs or adapt a MBU heater unit to run independently. I want to use a battery bank or transformer for power. I have a MKT85 field kitchen but may want to add a MBU unit to a BBQ trailer. Any part numbers out there for a connector with or without threaded keeper ring? Thanks Mark

I got the number at home I will try to post them up when I get home tonight. I just use one of the plastic connector from under the MBU in the shop. Those are a lot cheaper and easer to get.

OK they are made by ITT web site www.ittcannon.com .

The part number for an end to plug into the MBU is CA (or) MS 3106 (for a straight plug) or 3108 ( for an 90) E16SF80.

MS3106E16SF80 would get the straight plug. If you look on the web site look for MIL-DTL 5015 selection guide. Each letter and number in the part number means some thing.

Hope this helps. If you google the part number some suppliers pop up. If I remember right $8-$20 each depending on where and the style.

When I finally get close > http://www.ittcannon.com/products/l...3106E16SF80&parttab=search-tab-2#search-tab-2
it does not show the part number you gave, but it does show the following:
[h=3]MS3106E16 10P[/h][h=3]MS3106E16 10S[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-10P[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-10PX[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-10S[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-10SW[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-10SX[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-10SY[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-11P[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-11S[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-12P[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-12S[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-7P[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-7S[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-9P[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-9S[/h][h=3]MS3106E16-9SX[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-1P[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-1PW[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-1PZ[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-1S[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-1SW[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-1SZ[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-4P[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-4S[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-5P[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-5S[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-6P[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-6S[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-8P[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-8PX[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-8PY[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-8S[/h][h=3]MS3106E16S-8SX[/h]

Looks like the MS3106E1611S or P. The 11 is for 2 pin 12ga. The numbers after the 16 is for the pin number and arangment.

Digikey has both MS3106E16-11S (sockets) and MS3106E16-11P (pins) from ITT/Cannon in stock for about $40. The contacts in these have solder cups so you do not need a crimper. If you believe the PDF spec sheets at Digikey, they come with a rubber bushing and cable clamp backshell.
