Thanks TruckGuy! That is not to bad. Looks like i am going Monday. I have SC Title, what will I need for inspection in NC??

Two parts to that answer...

1. Must have older vehicles inspected when title is from another state.

Easy. Fill out the form. You will also need proof of insurance and Drivers License. You can take the truck to them or request they come to you. I had them come to me. Never even saw the guy, he came by while I was at work. The person at the tag place will tell you this must be done in 15 days. After calling the guys that actually take care it this... they don't really care if it's longer than 15. In fact, I was just told if I didn't have it done by the next year I would not be able to renew the tag.

They will give you a copy of the form. But here it is...

2. Vehicles in NC over 35 years old do not require yearly inspection. My Deuce was made in '71, I renewed my tag a couple months back... no inspection.

No problem.
Is that the original manufacture date or the rebuild date? Mine was last rebuilt in '84 I think. But, it was built in '71. Should have the year code in the frame number I believe.
