Not sure if this is the correct place for your question I would put it in the Auxiliary Equipment forum if you want a real answer.I mean to idol and warm up and charge the batteries with no load on generator.

Always run at 60Hz to warm up and run. For a long-run and to compensate for voltage drop, you can boost to 61-62Hz (depends on run length and desired phase/voltage combination). But there is no reason to run the unit below 60Hz ever.I mean to idol and warm up and charge the batteries with no load on generator.
