Brake Actuator Assembly: https://www.crofttrailer.com/hydro-act-actuators-ta6-ta7-parts-breakdown/
Great links, thank you! I don't think it is bad... I'm willing to bed there is little or no fluid in there. Hasn't been a priority to work on that part of it yet. Road legal was first. Mounting generator is second. Then I'm going to fix up the brake system. These links will be helpful along with the TM's I have collected. :)

Generator is all mounted up. Pulls great. I must say that the unit runs much more quiet on this trailer than my other one.

I put the accessory box & the step plate in a different spot. Not sure what to do on the other end yet. Thinking about a fuel tank.

I found a cheap source for the MOV modification. 10 pack for like $6.

Did a bunch of work on the trailer... it's coming along well.

Anyone have a solution for the diesel fill leaking when towing? Mine seems like leak way more than it should. The gasket is there. I really don't like spilling fuel while towing.

Howdy,
There are some threads here someplace.
Fuel cap? gasket
Fuel filler neck gasket? gets old and brittle, especially when they used JP8
top of the tank well nut?
fuel level sensor gasket? SAE 5 gasket
fuel float aux fuel pump gasket? SAE 5 gasket

Fuel level & float gaskets are new & not leaking. I replaced those not long ago to remedy that issue.

Fuel fill neck gasket seemed good to go & not brittle when I removed the tank.

The gasket is on the fuel cap, but, my guess is that's the issue.

I'll do some searching on the thread for what others have found & done. I just have terrible luck when searching.... put the word fuel & all kinds of fuel related stuff comes up, haha. A direct Google search bring up threads on the site though... may try that.

Here is a MOV that will work, for a real fair price: https://www.arrow.com/en/products/mov-14d151k/bourns

Edit: Arrow used to give free overnight shipping for any order. Looks like they changed that. Oh well, still a real good price if freight isn't too bad.
They want $12.99 shipping. Usually the big places kill you with small orders. 10 pack I found on the auction site for $5 with 3 day shipping. I can have spares if others end up needing some.

I appreciate that friend but my 5 pack arrived yesterday. I'm sure others will need some. :)

Tinkered a little with the generator today.

Varistors for the MOV mod came in. Installed.

Was pointed out to me that the fuel cap had an open & closed setting... didn't realize that. Removed it & put it where the small arms are a bit tighter inside the cap. Maybe was leaking as it was because it was open. Next tow, I should find out. Hopefully this will keep me from splashing diesel out!

Ground rod kit & hammer for it should be here by Saturday. Got them new for $150 shipped. Best price I found when looking for over a month.

Colt,

When your tank comes in, I'd like to see that too. I'm in no hurry for that info, but was thinking about it while trying to figure out a decent way to hook up an external tank in my situation. I'd *really* like to have a larger onboard option given all the extra space on the trailer.

Thanks,
SJ/JD
