What about you download the books and give it a shot on your own? The TM's (Technical Manuals) are here as a free download. Sit down. Spend a little time reading the book and see what happens...

Possibly snap a dozen pictures of the set.
You know, crack open the covers and give us a good look.
Post them here so we can start looking to see if anything is missing or unplugged?

To start with, maybe check out the battery.
Charge it up and then possibly push the button?

I know of a fellow in Columbia that has 'fixed up' a number of 802/803 units. He stays pretty busy, but, if you can't figure it out with the manuals he's only 100 miles away.

Whats the problem? Might be as simple as putting a switch in a different position.

I have a friend who is a Cat diesel mechanic coming over this weekend to go through the fuel system and hope to get this unit that I just purchased, running. I was asking more for someone that’s familiar with the generator side to check it out, load test, etc.

Who’s the contact in Columbia, SC? I travel up there once a week.
