Well I was wondering what to test my 802a with.... have an old hot water heater but also have an old stove. You may have inspired me.

Well I was wondering what to test my 802a with.... have an old hot water heater but also have an old stove. You may have inspired me.
I put the same connector on it as the generator inlet for the house, makes it easy to connect, also tests my cable. The stove is nice because burners give you nice, stepped loads. Once everything gets hot the elements will cycle, giving you some dynamic load.

You know, I did this when I was about 14 years old. I was hot wiring up a hidden phone in my bedroom. Kept it hidden in my messy closet. I wanted to strip the wire and hook them to the phone. As I started to pull, someone called. Brothers, I peed my pants. This was the first, but not LAST time I gave myself a jolt in the last 70 years.
