Then use the NSN in the TM, its the right one.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
I am back, made it to another New year. I am trying to locate the CB3, and have been trying to figure out what is going on with the Hertz. It operates smoothly at 58 but seems to fluctuate at 60. I have to move the frequency control more than I think it should. Then use the NSN in the TM, its the right one.
I should have qualified that statement, I mean that I have to turn the adjustment knob farther than I think I should, to get to 60. After I set it , then it starts to fluctuate.I have to move the frequency control more than I think it should.
What do you mean here? Do you mean that you adjust it to 60, and a few seconds later you have to readjust it? Or 2-5 minuets later? Or several times an hour? how often and how much time between adjustments?
I checked ohms between 147C,wire, andA5/17 it shows 5 ohms. It shows 2.3volts starting and16.9 running at A-5/16 and A-5/17. Between A -5/10 and A-5/9 , it shows 12.9 volts. I found what the MPU ,Read this and then see if you can get it to stabilize. I would start from scratch. Check the MPU also, IAW the PDF
I have checked the ohms between 147C and A-5/17 it shows 5 ohms. The voltage between the same two is 2.3 volts, starting, and 16.9, when running. The voltage between A-5/10 and A-5/9 is 12.9voltz. And would you please explain , what is the IAW ?Read this and then see if you can get it to stabilize. I would start from scratch. Check the MPU also, IAW the PDF
Sure. Open TM 9-6115-643-24, TM page # 2-304, or PDF reader page # 366. Start reading there, and everything you want to know about the MPU is there.
[/QUOT e Thank you , I really appreciate all your help.
Check again, JUST to be sure. Then make sure the wires are good. That the small connectors are still good. If you do not get any ohms reading again, scrape off some Insolation on each wire farther down, and test again. If that dont get it, you need a new one.
[/QUO I just wanted to thank you for your help. I finished adjusting the voltage on mpu and it is producing power, with no warning lights.
