MEP 831A Relay K15

I am having trouble contacting the load on my 831. When the generator is running, there is a green light and a constant buzzing coming from the K15 and when closing the circuit interrupter will cause the relay to burn up. If anyone has an idea on why this is happening, help would be greatly appreciated.

You will get beat up if you post in too many places.

I responded to your other post as well. Make sure that the K15 relay is 120vac coil. Starter lockout relay. The other two ice cubes are 24vdc coils. Mine had been swapped around before I bought it. It didn't burn up the 24vdc ones but boy would it chatter.

Do you have a model or part number for the relay that needs to be used? I just tried a 120vac coil relay and it is still failing to contact the load.

This relay is starter cutout relay. You may have only corrected one of the issues. It still could be K 15 related, but could well be something else. I would have to look at TM. I have not chased around the contactor interlocks.
