MEP002a non SDS ground options?

First off thanks for all the info in” MEP-003A hook up question” thread. Based on my understanding the easiest way to be able to use the 002 stand alone in the shop / mobile power and as a backup to the house is Non SDS (keeping the “neutral wire is bonded to the frame of the generator, and the generator is grounded via a separate ground rod”)

So my question is for around the house / shop usage can I use the service box ground and run a wire to the 002 / trailer to be my grounding rod? Or would a wire to my wellhead be better?

Also has anyone wired in a battery disconnect switch / mounted a breaker box / outlets to the trailer for use when not a backup for the house? Curious to see / hear what you have done J
