MEP003 ROTATING DIODES

Rotating diode for the mep003.

I'm looking for the commercial Part number. And source. For the rotating diodes. On my MEP. 003. Generator. Also, any tips on changing those diodes would be appreciated. I tried Googling the NSN and commercial part number and Looking them up on Newark Electronics, all I get. Is a light bulb.

Someone will come up with an answer, but if not, maybe you can reach out to the manufacturer of your main generator. I did on my MEP-804 and they still made the assembly.

These can be a little hard to find, and a little expensive at times. You can substitute the higher voltage 1N1206A and 1N1206RA, and there is no reason not to go with those if they're in stock and cheap. Octopart.com might help you find a supplier that has them in stock.

I have no connection to any of these places, just posting what I've found in a couple of brief searches.

Note that there are two each of two different diodes in the generator, 1N1206A and 1N1206RA. The -RA diodes are reverse polarity.

Edit: It's actually 6 total, 3 of each type.

According to the TM PL and the schematic of the rotor there are three of each type.
Of course the TM could be wrong

Dont think so. The 10 kw TM is right.

You're right, it's three of each type, so six total... thanks. The important thing is that there are two different types, the -A and the -RA versions.
