Not really, it's full of glossy pic's and it's a quick read. For $18 bucks yes, $700 no way!Question is, Do you think it is useful to someone looking to restore an M-37 or not?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!

Does anyone have a copy of this they would part with? Or a PDF copy? Thanks in advance...

I agree. If anyone wants to pay me hundreds of dollars to buy mine, you are welcome to it. (It came with the truck.)This "Restoration" guide is not even worth scanning ... IMHO you are not missing anything important.
One just sold on eBay this week for 205Question: What are copies of Dodge M37 Restoration Guide by David Ahl actually selling for?
I can't find a history on eBay or Amazon. I have an old copy that came with my truck when I bought it. I've never even put the effort into thinking of selling it. I certainly can't see it going for $700 someone mentioned in this thread.
Thanks. I guess I need to review how to search for closed sales. One just sold on eBay this week for 205
Are you interested in selling your copy? Thanks. I guess I need to review how to search for closed sales.
I hoping to keep my 14 year old daughter interested in the restoration of our truck (trucks) and thinking a couple of books like this will be able to connect her to the project and get her startedI have a copy that was given to me. It's honestly not what you think...
It's more of a "This is what I did" than a nut by nut restoration. It's good reading, but honestly I haven't cracked mine since initially glancing through it

PM sent.I hoping to keep my 14 year old daughter interested in the restoration of our truck (trucks) and thinking a couple of books like this will be able to connect her to the project and get her started
Depends on what they are going for... and if I can find it. I've been too busy to look much yet.Are you interested in selling your copy?
No worries, I've talked to kendelrio and have one coming that he was willing to share with usDepends on what they are going for... and if I can find it. I've been too busy to look much yet.
I don't listen to them anyway!@kendelrio , you're a nice guy, despite what everyone says
Honestly, I would introduce her to the Military manuals...they are well written and the foundation that you will create will last a lifetime. I would also introduce her to the PM Magazine articles on the M37 since they are in more of a "cartoon" format having been designed to catch the soldier's eye and be easy to digest...I hoping to keep my 14 year old daughter interested in the restoration of our truck (trucks) and thinking a couple of books like this will be able to connect her to the project and get her started
I was gifted a copy and it's been taking up space in a drawer. I sent it to him to enjoy.Find one at a yard sale for $25 or less, buy it... don't rely on it as your sole source of wisdom....
