Nice shirt :D

Did you do a transfer upgrade? Nice lockouts.

actually I am still looking for a good air shift transfer at the moment. Was focused more on getting the tires finished and top on finally. Just trying to get everything in order so I can enjoy the rally in Oct.

Edmonton weekly rod meet

On Friday nights a local A&W fills with between 200 and 700 motorheads and their better rides. Goose and I have used it as an excuse to go lube the seals and last Friday, Goat joined in. I usually try to get a bit of MV in every pic so it's a bit like "where's Waldo".

The pics.

Horseshoes wedged just right really helps. Once you get that 211 rolling you'll see what its like to wheel the ol' G749 around. Just can't get enough of the stories of the folks that drove them in and after service. Met a guy on Friday that drove one for 9 years working for Maligne Lakes up by Jasper. Used it to move boats, haul wood and the stories that he had running the beast on mountain roads were just wild.

you are pretty much going somewhere in it every weekend aren't you? I suppose this time of year you almost have to cause once the snow flies outdoors car shows aren't as much fun. Us MV hobbist wouldn't be afraid to take-em out, but not too sure the guys putting extra coat of wax on before the show would go for it! How late is it light up your way? Sure get disappointed when the days are short again.... #2 had some rust in it. Pulled the plugs, squirted a concoction into the cylinders, pulled the valve cover, valvetrain looks good. See if we cant get'er freed up and running. Now just need to find a hardtop(see if I can't get that Canadian truck out of that guy in the county). Good work on the car showing-the boys up north know what a G749 looks like...they get to see your frequently!

They run live steam shovels, rock crushers and equipment of that nature. They have an old steam engine on static display. They put on a show using the old shovels, dumps and dozers it is pretty neat to see that stuff in action.

Friday night A&W,

Then it rained and only orange and green stayed behind.

Little black cloud chased most of the shiny metal boys back to the barn. I'm so glad I have a truck that loves the weather, whatever it is!

Stopped by the Bozeman car show today, the wife had a horsey show to go to. She thought I should be bring the deuce, but I needed to be on child detail. None of these vehicle are mine, but the members of MVCC(Montana military vehicle collectors club)out of Bozeman. Nice to see the mvs out! Here in Montana most people pack a firearm in their car, but their period correct firearms always draw people in!

The Barrington Antique truck show was held at an old airport in Deering NH this year. This was the first time I had attended the show sence it left Barrington in 2013. From what l've heard the last two years, 2014, 2015, the show was held at some bad locations.
I think they choose a good spot at this airport.
we had a decent showing of MV's.image.jpg

Here are a few pictures of the car shows I have attended recently with a few of the other local guys. Always draw a big talkative crowd and lots of serious looks when we pull in.
