Minnesota law is as long as the vehicle has a civilian equivalent of size and weight it can be registered. You’ll need the SP97, pictures of all four corners, the serial number plate and likely the weight plate. The state may require you to bring it to an inspection station to verify the serial number. (and they may decide to issue a custom MN vin.)
it will take a bit to go through all of that, but the law is on your side for a HMMWV or CUCV.
ohh MN has a no armor or armourments rules. So if you plan to restore armor or add the the touret, don’t.
