I can't believe nobody has done this with a large case Leece Neville alternator yet. They're not terribly expensive and they're much higher output. More robust as well. Mine is 100 amp, and I've got a spare that's 120 or 125 amp. Same case. I may be mistaken, but I think they're surplus early LMTV alternators.
I’m interested in part numbers and what you had to do to bolt it up. My generator just went out on my deuce and I need a solution that doesn’t cost me a left nut.Not sure if I have any pics on this phone. I'm in Korea, and have been for nearly five years now. Let me do some looking and I'll post it if I find something.
