It dawned on me how stupid my question was:

- In a missle age, talking about anti-aircraft guns is like talking small arms and mentioning muskets.

All I know is that if you send in the Airborne you have to at least

Agreed, that along with food, ammo, and fuel, unless it's going to be a VERY short mission. Wanted to thank Ahab for reviving the thread, always good to "see" what's goin on..............

For years, our airborne tank was the M-551 Sheridan. The thing was not a roaring success. I remember when the last ones were sent out of Bamberg. No one cried to see them go.
