More help on determining year/make for a M818

I will be picking up an M818 and driving it home and need help on determiming the year and make of the truck with the VIN #: N100UY-72C12415055 for the insurance. I'm guessing a 1970 Kaiser. Thanks

I dunno. David Doyle may have that info. We bounce this info between us a lot. great guy and smart as can be when it comes to military vehicles.

I wanted to point out the VIN number you posted above is not really the vin. It is the military reg number at the front and you serial number or vin in the last positions. See the difference in this info from Meds post.

The number in bold is the vin number you need on your title and our insurance.
