Just a quick add about the pics in post#14. That is not as "flexed" as these trucks can get. We had an 818 that was so crossed up, we pulled one of the hood hinges off. I know the 939 trucks have different hoods, but the frames are still the same.

Put that same hill under the pass side rear tire while the driver side is still there in the front, you'll see what I mean.

That tan truck looks nice, but will not stay in-tact if it ever were to go off road.

That yard is the farthest off road that truck will ever go, so many things wrong...

The tires on a 923 will rub the stock bed with a heavy load and max articulation.

You could mount the front of the box solid, then put long springs or airbags in the back. Also a rubber boot between the cab and the bed would likely work. I would guess it would need to be at least 6 inches long. And big wheel wells!
