Yes it's a snap to install.
Remove the 8 wires from the existing VR. Remove the 4 screws attaching it to the back wall. Lift it out.
Secure my VR with 4 new screws that are provided.
Hook the 8 wires back up to the new VR. Attach two wires from my VR. One to the Oil Pressure Gauge, one to an unused terminal on K15.
Remove the old voltage adjustment pot. from the front panel. Attach my new voltage adjustment pot. to the front panel.
Done.
Comes with a step by step installation procedure with pictures. Couldn't be easier.
ok i'm sold send me one please how to pay ect.....thanks Mike

If you are referring to the Voltage Regulator, there are no adjustments needed.

I assume you didn't mean Governor Controller

The best option would be to buy Kurt's VR. It is very reasonably priced and has many positives including not needing the varistor and fuse plus it protects the quad windings. Save the old one for a spare in an emergency. I wouldn't have a 803 or 802A generator with the OEM VR now that Kurt has provided an improved VR.
This is where you went wrong. You confused a VR, Volt Regulator with a governor control. The Vr is still a good idea, but what we really need to know now, is what your gen set will and will not do. Because I am lost here now.

Hi Kurt ...........I have a question. Does your govinor control elemenate manuel adjusting ?

Twist it really hard! eventually it will come off, or shred.... one or the other.
Strap wrench or real large channel lock pliers.
prefill with diesel before installing new one if you want.
It will self-bleed through the return line, just leave the pump running for a while, but if you loosen the banjo bolt or the filter cup that will speed the process a lot.
The sound of the pump will change a little once it's bleed out.
