Yes to all of the above, oh what size is the rubber hose connectors at the carburetor and intake runners.
Ive almost got the carb out and going to start on the gas tank tomorrow.

Sorry guys been to busy with too many projects, what was my problem??? Bad spark plugs, well bad resistors in the spark plugs. Took them over to a local airfield and put them on the pressure, resistance stand because the electrodes looked great. Well as I applied pressure and advance the spark, you could see the spark just die away. So new set of plugs and some marvel mystery oil and she running great.
