So looking at this again... and reading the 20P and 34p i can't find any part numbers on the wiring harness for the tractor. I see the diagram but it doesn't give me a number for the whole thing...can anyone help maybe I'm reading it wrong...

Also looking at the wiring in the engine compartment im missing the coolant temp sender wire, and oil pressure sender wire.. and alternator wire. Looking at the military wire tag ID PDF, I think that big plug connects to the engine harness. It looks like that's missing from this engine..

I was hoping to get this started today but that's probably not going to happen.

Also all my dash gauge wires are sun dried and the rubber is cracking off... and the previous owner pulled them all out and lost the cover for it.

The wires for the panel where the push button starter and switch are looks ok..

In all I need a new tractor harness bad..

Can I start it with what I got or is the missing wiring harness for the engine going to hurt me?

Well, you have to have a TM first. We have both asked, and had no joy. I do not do Facebook. Is there no Facebook Goat Group?

There is a Facebook group ive joined but no joy there also.. yes I have access to the 34 pdf but the diagram is messed up on the steelsoldiers web site.. the same with other websites they have the same issue... I guess my only hope is the real TMs I ordered a set but they are the 1980s version I dont know if they have a wiring schematic but we'll see when they come.

My goats wiring harness has major issues the wire tags are corroded and hard to read numbers, and every wire coating is cracking. I can fix no problem, the problem is I need to remove it from the dash to fix and requires me to remove from switches and circuit breakers.. ect ect.. I'll get it eventually.

I searched for a year for a cargo cover and found one in the classifieds here on SS. I believe a M105 cargo trailer would be close. When I was looking for parts I noticed some had no part numbers, I ended up rebuilding my wiring harness, I still have a partial one and I look it over to see if it's something you might be able to use. Your best bet is to try and find a parts machine. You can go over my restoration on SS here https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/operation-urgent-restoration.141472/ I believe I cover some of the wiring issues.

Thank you it was a nice read... you had alot of help from fellow SS members..... most if not all the Gama Goat parts are gone and scraped.. most parts dealers I've talked to scraped alot of kits and harness. It's kind of sad.. im just getting into this and I don't know if I can find what I'm looking for to even start the goat ...its kind of discouraging. Seems like the stuff I need is gone... like my missing engine harness my goat didn't have one so i can't even start it properly and everybody that might have one doesn't get back to me or ignores my attempts to contact them.... and my main harness needs to be rebuilt.... its just frustrating not what I was expecting..😔😔

I should of got a Gama Goat 7 years ago lol

But I'll keep at it I have no choice

Few days ago I removed the dash and pulled the harness out of the tractor to fix.
