That is a common problem when the tanks are not drained properly after every trip.
Yep! If you don't drain the tanks at the end of a day's driving water sits in there and rusts them out from the inside. I think an air dryer helps with that, but there's a good reason why the manuals and professional truckers still do it! I think the DMV CDL manual for NY even says to do it.

I have my stupid thoughts.
One needs to be corrected because there is no space between "air" and "tanks".

I was thinking of putting a helicopter crash seat like this. Trying to figure some ad hoc roll over protection

Now the pneumatic release cylinder works properly.
I applied talc, this has the effect of preventing rubber objects from drying out.

Neat Idea... Never even considered Talc before.
Be careful though because the lawyers are after people who manufacture that stuff. :-(
