My Install on a Deuce Muffler

I picked up a Donaldson M070028 muffler yesterday from a shop in town.
They had them in stock!
That's a serious muffler!
Heavy duty!
And best of all? NO packing inside to blow out.

Weather and time permitting, I'll have that thing installed today or tomorrow.

I can't wait to see how it sounds.

I'm TRYING to line up a db meter to get some sort of "before and after" figures.

No guarantees, though.

Yee Haa! I scored a db meter here at work to borrow!

Here's what I'm thinking:
1. Near the stack at idle. How far away?
2. In the cab while driving down the road at around 55.

Both readings before and after the muffler install.

Any input is appreciated.
