My new CUCV II

Hello fellow MV-Enthusiasts!!

Yesterday I got my new ride!!

A '97 CUCV II, with Troop-Seats and Tarpaulin.

A very nice vehicle.

Runs like a champ and even with a CD/Radio!! What more could you want??

No, I bought it from a friend of mine.

This is my first Vehicle with an automatic tranny.
And I love it already!

You get a lot of attention with this kind of car in Germany.

It runs very smooth and shifts without problems.

Unfortunately I can't find a lot of informations about the CUCV II on the
internet.

That is an outstanding looking truck!!! Tell us more about the motor and trans. Is that a 6.5L turbo diesel? And is the trans a 4L80E???

Good morning guys,

yes it's a 6.5 Turbo with factory Air condition. The Transmission is a 4L80.

The same powerpack as the Humvee.

I have to drive it a little to get myself used to the new car.

My last vehicle was a M151A2 and it was a lot smaller!!

Nice. Looks like from the bumper markings it belonged to the 10th Special Forces Group. Wonder if it came out of Bad Tolz?

Man, the vehicle is really fun to drive!! A friend of mine said to me: Now you got the V8 Virus!! Hahaha!!
