Really, with the 8.3 conversions we discarded the IP filter as they were highly suceptable to plugging up from use of "Civilian" fuel; apparently the detergents containe in it would dissolve/destroy the media....I suppose its a hard idea to justify, but that's what was happening and why they were removed and not replaced. YMMV

Got some filters ordered at Napa going to change them this weekend if we get everything harvested tomorrow. Got a good deal on some RP 15w-40 see how good it works.

Newest project, arctic upgrade,Fuel burning personnel heater and swing fire coolant heater, still need to get a swing fire pulse jet to power it. Removed it all off an old m925 at Glens salvage yard in Salina. Only part I did not get was the oil pan shroud which was all smashed in.

Once I got all of the cables on the harness patched back to gather for the personnel heater, I hooked up the ground and power cables to test out, but the push to test light would not light I checked the bulb and it seemed to be good,so I checked the socket (in pic) with a volt meter and the lower center wire and left wire had .5 volts, and the lower center and right hand had no volts. When I move the switch to start the heater spools up like it should.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I remember reading that So I never put it right on defrost, usually keep one of the air vents open to keep it a good temp.

Finally got the snow plow mount finished and all the hydraulics put together so everything seems to be working good, but it does not look like were going to get any more snow this year so I went ahead and took it off for the summer, the way I made the mount everything comes off so the truck looks stock when everything is removed.

Nice job Russ out where you are on a normal winter I bet you get some big drifts out there. We hardly had any snow either on the East side which was good, but the bad no snow = no moisture. Does your family dry land or pivot?

We dry land here, the majority of the pivots are further west, not to many around here. You know its dry when 100 year old trees are dying, hopefully well end the dry spell this year.
